How to Clean a Boat

• Start with a rinse to remove any loose debris or grime. Work from the top, until you reach the bottom.  
• Soap it up. Use a specialized boat cleaner that will remove any saltwater grime. Work in small sections and don’t let soapy water dry on your boat’s surface.  
• Buff it out. After washing and rinsing, your boat might still look a little dull, which is where buffing comes in! Remove oxidation with buffing compounds.  
• Wax on, wax off. To add showroom shine to your boat, it’s now time to wax! This not only adds shine but also protects the surface from debris and grime.  
• Clean the interior with a gentle interior cleaner that is tough on stains and grime, but gentle on vinyl.
